Once the work moved into more complex matters, I repeatedly experienced issues that should not occur at a professional service level. Earlier in the process I received information regarding VAT registration and address related questions that later turned out to be incorrect. I had to verify several points through independent legal advisors in Samui to avoid decisions that could have created unnecessary costs. This was stressful and reduced my confidence in the accuracy of the guidance I received. The biggest concern arose during the current work permit procedure. I was told by phone that I could submit my passport today and pick it up tomorrow. Based on this confirmation I changed my travel plans and prepared everything accordingly. When I arrived in Bangkok, I was informed that the pickup would take several more days. This unexpected change created significant uncertainty and frustration, especially because I rely on precise information for my schedule. Fortunately, after further clarification the firm managed to ensure that I can pick up my passport tomorrow, and I appreciate that this issue was ultimately resolved. There were also no additional costs in the end, which I consider positive. However, it should not require this level of repeated follow up to receive correct and reliable information. I expect a more consistent and proactive communication standard, especially when the services are not inexpensive and when time sensitive decisions depend on the accuracy of the advice. Overall I see positive aspects, but also clear weaknesses in reliability and the precision of the guidance. I am therefore not giving a full rating, because I hope that future processes will be more transparent, predictable and handled without the need for constant follow up.
